Is your go-to site worth a dime?
Alright, so there are at least a million websites about education right? How the heck can I find one that is actually good for my class? What could my students possible learn from a talking dog? These are all very valid questions when searching for a reliable source of information to use in your classroom. It seems refreshing to stumble upon a .com or .edu that fits the bill with instuction that relates to your required cirriculum. I have listed a few quick questions to ask youself when selecting a good site to use in school:
What is the main subject content of this website?
Does this site contain easy to read, and easy to locate information?
is the information accurate, and up to date?
Can you come up with a couple of your own question? This will further help your selection process, and make you think twice before simply copy and pasting!
